there are many pubs and bars and restaurants littered down Northcote Road

a sea of battered booze hounds spill out into the streets of Battersea.

But

hardly any pubs stand out.

they all look and feel the same.

same, same, meh, meh.

homogenised hodge-podge of bland

However, there is one place

there is one place that REALLY STANDS OUT.

The Saviour.

Yes, I’m biased, it’s my local juicer, get-sloshed-basin.

The Saviour does amazing food.

The burger is sensational - a steaming bacchanalia of BANGING.

Up there with the best in Landan Taaaan, guv.

The calamari is like a fucking sex-under-Baleric-melting-orange sunset for your taste buds.

Pork skewers are little podgy piggy pocket rockets of yum.

however,

The Saviour pushes a totally random hero product.

Churros.
It’s weird.
It’s a talking point.
It makes things interesting

having a strange hero product massively helps you stand out.

if something feels weird

Lean in

weird = differentiation.

anyhoo,

I ate said churros with Michel Roux. Jr when we recorded our poddy

Michel gave me a sweet piece of life-advice

Call your friends or family more often.

We feel like we’re “connecting” with people but we’re not.

Eat churros. Stay weird. Call your pals.
